Gwen Lee & Glenda Lee

Glenda Lee and Gwen Lee, are two African American sisters, both born and raised in the city of Milwaukee, who became interested in art at a very young age, and are both self taught artists. The two sisters decided to come together with their talent, calling it GLArt Collectables. The mediums used are pencil, paints, ink as well as other mediums. GLArt Collectables not only consists of original works of art but include magnet art, greeting cards, and prints. Many of the images are warm and familiar, capturing moments in life that bring a smile to faces of all ages, because they signify the spirit of youth that is or once was in all of us. The sisters have displayed work in art shows and celebrations such as Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee Inc, Greer Oaks Art Gallery, Sherman Perk Art Cafe and others. They have volunteered their talent to the Open Canvas 2004 & 2005 for the benefit of the William F. Eisner Museum of Advertising & Design and the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design Scholarship Fund
