Vedale Hill I am a High School Senior at the School of the Arts. I've been drawing since grade school, and have advanced to painting. I presently paint in oil and acrylics. Ialso do chalk drawings which I prefer the most. I was selected to design and help paint a Mural for C.O.A. (Childrens Outing Association), which I am very proud of. I have also won first and second place awards in the Scholastics Art Contest, and first place in the State Fair contest. My motivation for the pieces I create is driven by a brief escapism from reality to put on canvas or paper the way I see the world and people. I'm steadily trying to grow artistically and intellectually, which I hope shows in the drawings and paintings I've done over the years. My dream for the future is to give my gift of art to the world, inspire and influence other young people wiyh my artwork.
